Here is something I haven't done in so long that I forget the last time I did. In the old days after every show I drew up a comic very much like this. Don't why specifically why I stopped, but I think because it was a lot of work haha.

The show was awesome. Opening bands were good, but of course Get Up Kids rocked. They played a new song the wrote, so I have hopes for new music and more shows. WOOOOO!

Of course I refer to this comic and the possibility of a cover band. It's kinda funny that I got more jokes out of the band then practices. Though looking back I never talked about the band after the two comics but it didn't go after the first practice.

However Pistolia is well on it's way on to it's third practice. Nick resumes Guitar/vocal Duties, I am now on Bass, and new guy Ryan has taken over the drums. We are so confident we are planning to play the Tritone's weekly open mic in two weeks.

Bit of an inside joke, the balls bit not the Judd Apatow bit.A friend of mine, Jim, was talking to his fiance, Jennie, about him going to a strip club's for their respective bachelor and bachelorette parties. She was less then thrilled of him getting a lap dance so he countered with how she'll have male strippers thrusting their balls in her face and emphasizing it by doing exactly what happens in the last scene repeatedly. To which I commented that this would be in a Judd Apatow movie. Hence, today's comic.

Yup, I returned to open mic night at the dive. Granted it was a little emptier then when I usually go but we still had fun. I even sang a bit. In terms of the title if you remember this song they are the same just a different title. Also I'm not making up the second panel, somebody shouted that back to me.

Siggraph recap 2009

HI!!!! New Orleans was awesome. Good times, good drinks and good friends. My animator buddies Dave, Nick, Eric, and Andy where there. We did go to the convention, there were some interesting things. I talked to a few people about work and have emails to send out. The hotel was the most convenient one we ever stayed at, there was all kinds of things within walking distance, also it was right on Bourbon st. For the eight days I was there, I only got drunk three times, the other days we were recovering. As for the strip clubs, we only went on the nights we were really drunk and the criteria for our visits were no cover and cheap beer.

All in all, a great time. Thanks to Siggraph and the guys.
