Yea, 1408 came out last week. Ironically I coulda done a comic about the movie coming out cause I didn't write anything haha. I just forgot it came out. Though I couldn't beat Joe from Joe Loves Crappy Movies.
I haven't seen it yet, but it's on my to do list.
Enjoy.

Biking is Hot
Nice change of pace. Doing a joke based on a conversation that happened with a real person. Strange. Though the conversation isn't word for word (my dialogue is actually made when I sat down to write the comic after we had the talk).
That's Andrew, he works at the library, obviously. For some reason he decided to bike on this hot fucking day. When he actually has a car. *shrug*. Later folks.

Press Down Hard
Sorry no comic yesterday. All I did was watch Venture Bros all day. Nothing to funny about that(Though the show is funny as hell).
Yea, under a lot of pressure now a days. So, later.
"Pressure pushing down on me. Pressing down on you no man ask for. Under pressure. That burns a building down. Splits a family in two. Puts people on streets."

Not so Quiet Man
A friend of mine from Rutgers(Nick) works at Quiet Man Studios. They do 3-D stuff and film for tv from as far as I can tell and they just moved into a new space. Everybody said it be a good experence that you'll make good contacts. Well all I did was work in the back doing the stuff in the comic not talking to anybody but my animator friends.
Might go back another day. It was a nice place.
Wooo no jury duty tomorrow either so I'm going to work for the same amount of money. Later.

Dig, Dug, Douge
Stay tuned. More on this tomorrow.
"So when sickness turns my ego up. I know you'll act as a clever medicine. If I turn into another, dig me up from under what is covering. The better part of me. Sing this song! Remind me that we'll always have each other. When everything else is gone. Oh, each other when everything else is gone."

Stars on the Ceiling Karaoke
I honestly like the first couple fo lines of amazing grace. The idea of a song saving you is pretty cool. But to call myself a wretch is kinda mean. Also it's MC Hammer, so it's sorta religous.
Also Happy Father's Day to all the daddies out there.
"Father I will always be. That same boy that stood by the sea. And watched you tower over me. Now I'm older I wanna be the same as you."

Geek Unit of Measurment
Yea I see the loser-dom in teers. Geek being right in the middle. The difference I figure is how smart the person is. Dork being less smart then a geek, and nerds being smarter then geeks. At least how I figure.
Later folks

Inter web
Yup, yup. Another day at the library.
"The truth is that I'm overrated, I can't think straight, I'm formulaic. The truth is that it's sad to say it, but you can't help me. You, you don't see me that way. You hear the words that I say, you just tell me my heart's in the right place, it's the world that's confused, and it's never too late, to save a hopeless case."

We still have the option to resort to violence
Right this second, it isn't raining. But it has rained for the past two days.
I saw Knocked up with Polina yesterday. It was an awesome movie. The gang in the movie reminded me off my Rutger's friends. Just sitting around (sans pot). Funny, funny. Go see it if you liked 40 year old virgin and those movies.
Later folks.
"The shadows I cast. Follow me down. Deeper I'm falling. Into the arms of sorrow. Blindly decending. Into the arms of sorrow. There must be serenity."

My stamp at the library(without the date due or vandalism)
Yea, for some reason one of my bosses decided to redo all the signage placed about the library. Which is cool. For above sake and portfolio pieces. When I finish all of em I might put it on my portfolio site.
Night folks.
"These notes are marked 'return to sender'. I'll save this letter for myself. I wish you only knew. How good it is to see you."

Pod people or Taste of humans
Basically what I said above is my take on Pod.
Kelly does pick a lot of upper class places to celebrate at. Just not my cup of tea.
Later.

Swish
Much thanks to Polina and her untrustworthy friend. I got to see Tool for free(even though chipping in for dinner, tolls, parking and gas was still cheaper then the ticket.)
They were fun to watch. They had lazers and interesting images. Didn't think the sound was too great, but still awesome show.
Afterwards me and Polina walked around the boardwalk. She even ran in the ocean.
Well Wishing Happy birthday to my sister today. Later.
"Foot in mouth and head up ass. So whatcha talkin' 'bout? Difficult to dance 'round this one. 'til you pull it out, boy!"

Maya, the OTHER animation program
Maya for those of you who don't know, is a 3-d animating and modeling software. A very popular one at that. It's used to make most of the animated and effect filled movies you've seen.
My grudge against this program is simply that I don't know how to use it. I have been educated on Softimage. Though it is popular as well. From description of jobs I have seen the require either Maya or 3d Max(another program I have no idea how to use). So now I have to learn them just enough to say I know how to use them and hopefully get a job.
That is all.

If you have vertical bars, don't use horizontal blinds
I hate being topical, but hey. Why not?
Night folks.
"When I wake up in my makeup. It's too early for that dress. Wilted and faded somewhere in Hollywood. I'm glad I came here. With your pound of flesh. No second billing cause you're a star now. Oh, Cinderella. They aren't sluts like you. Beautiful Garbage. Beautiful dresses. Can you stand up or will you just fall down."

Makes it hard to sit down
Originally the last panel was going to read "It be a pain in the ass" but when it came time to ink I added "still" and viola. A dimension I didn't even think off.
It's amazing how things can change so drastically with a simply addition of a word.
"Seventeen and coming clean for the first time. I finally figured out myself for the first time. I found out what it takes to be a man. Though Mom and Dad will never understand. What's happened to me!"

Is panic a plan?
Ryan Philippe once said the best line about plans. "A plan is just a list of things that don't happen." I agree with that.
I just hate the word plan. It seems to have an expectation, if you don't meet it you just lose. Granted I'm sure anything I decide to do in the future can be called a plan of some sort, I just don't want to.
I do have ideas of what i might do. Of course the one I really think I could do is this comic. Make a leap like countless before me and go for the comic full time. Of course a few practical matters come up. The biggest to me is, do I have enough readers to actually justify full time? I do have a lot of readers, but do I have ENOUGH? Cause I need a fairly large amount of people supporting this strip to ever make the push to full time. Cause then I'd get a website, advertisements, merchandise, etc. Ehhhh I don't know. Maybe I should just go straight to print or something. *shrug* I shall ponder on this some more.
Well enough of that. Later kids.
"Hit me, I'm bleeding. In your lounger, on your grooming. It's the future that's whoring. The better, happier you. A better happier you."

A toast too...
What a great weekend. Thanks to Emily for putting it together. We started the weekend by meeting up with Eric, Andy, Jenny, and Jon at school. We moved Jenny's horses and laying mouse traps in the sculpture studio. Then met up with Emily, Lisa, Jeremy and Patrick at Jenny's apartment. Then we hit the road. There was a really sharp turn and shifting of leaders. Eventually we got down to Ocean City. Unpacked and started hanging about and broke out the beer. Eventually Nuemann and Mary Kate meet us at the cabins. Grilling and drinking continued. Eventually playing Kings and had the funniest rule ever(not allowing to use words with s's). After many hours we called it a night. The next day we headed to the boardwalk. Walked up and down and visited arcades and shops. Growing tired we picked up some chicken at the Acme and returned to our cabins. We then began grilling once more. setting a blaze many a coal and grilling many a blacken chicken. Said goodbye to Nuemann, Eric and Jeremy. Much more drinking and playing a drinking game to the Venture Brothers DVD. Eventually calling it a night and sleeping. The next day we cleaned up our wall of empty bottles and cans lining the ledges of the porch. We were now in search of an IHOP. After looking about we found one and ate quickly because I had to get home. Being the awesome guy Jon is he drove really fast to get me home. Which he did with 9 minutes to spare.
I also like to thank all the attendees of my graduation party. Much fun.
Well I need to rest up. NIGHT!!! LOVE YOU ALL!!!
"Under the Boardwalk. Out of the sun. Under the Boardwalk. Man, we'll be having some fun. People walkin' above. Under the Boardwalk. We'll be falling in love under the boardwalk, boardwalk."
