We got shirts!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Though I am a believer in, "It's not funny if you have to explain it", I feel I should at least put this joke in context.

Boolean is a computer animation term. Basically it's a command that rounds hard edges when your modelling(creating) an object. It's been a running joke since we had are first assignment to just say "boolean". Since the joke in the animation lab was just saying boolean I figured it be funny even if you weren't a computer animator. Even without the knowledge that today we were joking about making shirts. So hope that clears things up.

Schools hard, if you can AVOID IT AT ALL COST!!! Ha just kidding, it needs to be done. But it sucks.

Another ruined representation

Right now I'm updating from my brand new desk. I took a couple of hours to build but it's done. It's cool.

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I was at school most of the day fixing my photos for class tomorrow. I actually got all seven photos I needed done. The assignment which I need to ride in the chair was for motion.

What would you do if you found out the comics you've been scanning for the past year have been shrunk so small any attempt to digtally reprint them may not work out too well? Well I'll tell you what I'd do. Re-scan an entire sketchbook worth of strips and edit them all as fast as I can. Make sense right?

It's raining, it's snowing and etc.

It's really wet outside. So I couldn't take pictures. Also I didn't feel like doing anything.

Nighty Night.

Sorry to Shane, Eric and Nick & Tim in 3-D

Well, nobody entered the contest. I imagine for three reasons. First, nobody could guess the songs (highly unlikely), nobody saw the comic so couldn't answer(most likely), or nobody wanted to give out their address(incredibly likely). Well in anycase nobody won. Oh well, next time.

If you wanna go back and guess anyway go for it.

It was a fun day. I tired. Can't wait till next time, gonna get some sleep beforehand. I'm sure they excpected to see themselves in the comic, but I'm just too tired. If not, no biggie.

That's it, goodnight folks.

AOYU - At least I had the time of my life

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I fought the urge for about a month or so but I finally gave in. I put up an As of Yet Untitled comic. Don't get me wrong I love AOYU, but, for reason I don't wish to disclouse at this time, I wanted to see if I could actually go the distance and not use it when I'm stuck for a comic. But alas it was not ment to be. Tell you the truth I do have some spare Stars on the Ceiling comics. But I deemed them too heavy, for now. I kinda just want to do a few more funny ones before I put up those.

So here it is, a brand spanking new AOYU comic. This one is not only funny, but is interactive. You know what that means....a CONTEST. So here it goes:

Name ALL six Green Day song's (there are six) refrenced in this comic. If you get it right(which I imagine all my readers will). You will get an exclusive postcard. For my enjoyment purposes, I shall not say what kind of postcard it is, but I can say, it's only being offered for this contest.

To be a qualified winner you need the following things. First, naturally is the six songs. Second I need your Name and address. Sorry kids, but if you don't supply your address you can't win. I'm going to be mailing all the winner's postcards. I understand if you don't want to give out your address, but I promise I won't give out your address, if you entrust me with it. So email me at reggieatfefan@yahoo.com to enter. Since, I posted early. You have until my next update, ten o' clock tomorrow to enter.

Good luck to you all.

Goodnight.

Every try to put a monkey in a line-up?

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I find it very interesting that what most people find most endearing about this comic, is that it's so poorly done. The lousy borders, the 2 year old style grammer, miss-spells, and the totally crappyness of my drawing.

Yet dispite all those things, people(even some of my fellow art students) absolutly love(maybe overexagerating) my comic. They all look past the obvious flaws into the heart of the comic. Me. I guess I should feel proud.

I'm currently talking with my graphic design teacher in "pubishing" my comics in a book form. In hopes of having my comics in a real live art show. If it turns out okay. I may make more, for you guy's. Let me know what you think of that.

In other news, I made a short film in class today, with a group. We adapted the story of hamlet. We managed to tell the whole story in about three minutes. It was funny. But other movies were very deep and experimental. Ours was just funny.

Goodnight.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

It's not a mistake. I have blond hair right now. Hopefully tomorrow I will have bright red hair.

I also picked up Hitchhiker's guide today. It's just a great movie. I shall enjoy watching it.

I also picked up Coheed's new album. I haven't listen to it yet.

Goodnight.

You're breaking the fourth wall!!!!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I'm honestly thinking about it. That's my friend Eric by the way.

I'm really proud of the expressions in the second panel. It's just funny to me. I love the looking into the camera at certain points to highlight the irony.

MMMMM slantey

I finished Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh.

What, Tim read a book? I shall explain. A guy brought in a shopping cart of kids type books into the library. I found that book and a wrinkle in time. My friend really liked the movie Secrets of Nimh, so me I read a lot of books that became movies. In any case I really liked it. It was an easy read so I got through it quick. I'm now trying to read the Exorcist. See how that goes.

Today in my graphic design class, the teacher took us to the Walt Whitman center (a performing arts building behind the dorms, that nobody really knows is there) and made us put tags on things with a fact and a myth. i'm wondering, when did we go back to first grade? The sculpture teacher honestly talks to us like we are little kids, kinda annoying.

Backwards Alphabet played a last minute show at Saint Joe's senior barbeque. We thought it be funny to be on a slanted road blocking the way of students. Unfortuantly it wasn't really good for Dave's drums. Unfortuantly my guitars or other things keep messing up and dropping out. So I hated that. We played an mostly ignored, pretty good set. The good news is we might be the band for ever senior event at the school. Man rutgers don't do that.

Well I want to go, bye bye.

Oh my god, there's TWO

Well the postcards are almost gone. I wish I could say I'm suprised I ran out so quickly, but since it was a cute card and free, people took it. Now if you want to get the Few Limited Speacial Edition(meaning flawed), first run, offical Stars on the Ceiling postcard (with that impresive title who can resist) better hurry.

Where'd the goatee come from?

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

The problem with the postcard was because the text on the side went straight down. It's a big mistake cause it doesn't read well. Which I agree with. Otherwise everybody loved it. I fixed it so when I print again it'll be better.

A friend of mine went right onto the site before the digital photography class to check it out. She really loved it. There was a girl who read my comic and totally loved it. It made her want to do the same thing, which made me feel good cause I inspired someone to draw their own comic.

Goodnight.

Happy birthday, Mom and Grandma

It was a porteguse resturant in North Philly called Tito Peuta, I think. The food was good. Grandma and Grandpa always find the most interesting places, they wander around alot.

Goodnight.

Doesn't that just freak you out?

I had practice today. First time in a awhile. Seemed to be tension or something in the air. I can't say for sure why, but I felt it.

Also we shot a video. Meaning, Ted video taped us karokieing to Zombie Love Song. It was quite fun. I believe the concept is Dave and Fitz become zombies and have sex with each other, or the don't fall in love. Fitz says it's not really a love song so I guess it makes sense.

I almost forgot, but I got post cards in. I guess I'll just give away this batch. If you want one you can just email me your address and I'll mail you one or get one directly from me. Goodnight.

Yoda in da house

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Typography class seems to be the most interesting class I have. As we're doing our work we're just sitting around chatting about anything and everything. Don't have that in my other classes. Just doesn't seem to happen other times. Which kinda sucks since the graphic design class is suppose to be about building a community. It's funny.
