Pull up minus the pull
Well I'm taking two days off. I'll be in the O.C. for the next two days (ocean city not the rich brats). Most likely drunk most of the time. So I'll update on Sunday.
Also Happy Birthday to Kelly.
"And so we gather round Psycho Joe. The quiet loners always blow. Strap him in the chair. And killing bad guys is such fun. Too bad we only captured one. Are there any more out there. Are there any more out there. And in the weirdest way it sets him free. He's finally rid of you and me. Joe and his electric chair."

Damn Dirty Apes
What follows is a zig zag tale to where this comic came from. Don't ask me why I'm explaining it, but I thought it be somewhat interesting.
What sparked this was I was thinking of book called something along the lines of the hipsters bible. It was a book saying what's what in the indie scene and that it seem to be the be all and end all of it. It lead me too the thought of not just telling people how it should be, but how it is by observing hipster, and other scenes and writing about what they observe (don't get me wrong, I'm sure they researched it and the build the rules from that). Then I thought of Jane Goodall, famous for her observations of monkeys. Which lead me too the final thought of observing people to figure out things about yourself. Much like case studies are suppose to apply to everyone else that are similar.
Hopefully that all made sense.
Night folks.

Hot library lady, former hot registrar lady
I remember seeing her in the registrar office. Now she's at the library.

The more you know
The girlfriend in question is a girl named Lis and the boyfriend is Mark. The animation gang descended upon Mark's house for a BBQ. Off course we talked about movies, animation, and various other nerd things. She knows he's a nerd already but she kept saying how nerdy we all are. Fun stuff.

It's hot man, very hot.
Also Happy Birthday to Andy.
"Wonder what it’s like when you’re living with someone like me. I’m a freak and I’m nervous when it’s easy. Feral days and I’m sex crazed I put it in with my animal ways and. That’s the sign I was born to be living in. I ran around and gave the finger to the Ritalin."

If he ain't quoting he ain't talking
First off, say hi to Andy.
Secondly, this joke is three fold. First Andy is the guy who thought of the title (all be it he used better grammar). Second, Andy is a big star wars fan. Third, IT'S A FUCKING QUOTE FROM A MOVIE!!!!
By the way. It is a real site.
"All the nights we stayed up talking. Listening to 80's songs. And quoting lines from all those movies that we love. It still brings a smile to my face."

Minus one net
Hopefully what comes across in this comic is that, the library job was my safety net. It was nice thinking that no matter what I'm more likely to have a job then not. Granted it was a little overbearing to think I'd get the job without a hitch. But I honestly believed I could.
Now, I wait till the end of June where essentially I will be asked to leave. They can't afford me and I'm not a student here, so that means bye bye.
In the end it may be for the better. Now I have to move on. All be it by force, but I don't make changes very willingly.
Goodnight.

Doesn't hurt to ask, but COME ON!!!
She called about a half hour before we closed. We made her talk to two other people before I assume she gave up. Haha.

Nobody says they wanna be a lab rat when they grow up
Well hopefully at least the portfolio bit will be cleared up soon. I have a few ideas I could start putting together. A drawback of doing an artist portfolio, you tend to gear it towards the company your applying to or what job your searching for. So it's kinda hard when you don't know either.
I take a bit of comfort in the fact that a few of my graduating friends are just as stuck as I am.
Night all.

Lot's of snakes in San Francisco
Yea, Marlon's submission for the thesis reel was not that great. We all collectively booed haha. Good thing he doesn't read this comic.
Don't forget to vote for your favorite comics I have done. Bear in mind that some people might not get all the jokes, so pick the more universal ones. And let me know.

A sea of black hats & Sassafras
Well I did. After five years I graduated college. It's a funny feeling, I'm not as excited as many would think. I just have the usual anxieties.
The thesis show was cool. Every bodies work looked good and everybody was all dressed up and shit. My Mom, Grandma and Pa, and my Aunt Helen all came to the show. They loved my short and demanded copies of it to show everybody, haha. When I get some free time I'll burn some DVDS.
Around quarter of 4 Mom took me over to the Tweeter to get pictures. I ended up in the third row on the edge, so I'm sure I can find me. Afterwards we stood for about an hour waiting till we have to walk in. The ceremony was pretty good. Everyone was quick and concise. The diploma handing out was the thing that took forever. Lot's of psychology majors. As I told the lady sitting next to me, "What would Freud say?" something about sex I bet.
After the festivities Mom and Co whisked me off to Outback for a celebration dinner. After that we called it a night.
Graduation aside, a friend of mine clued me into a contest being run by the City Paper for a comics issue. This gives you guys a chance to let your voice be heard. So I ask you guys to give me YOUR top 10 favorite comics that I have done. Granted that's a lot of comics to think about from a very very long list of comics. But I figure that it be better for the audience to choose the ones that best represent me to show another audience. So I'll keep reminding you all weekend and you leave me a comment, email me, or tell me in person. Thanks guys.
I'm Tim Aichele college graduate, saying goodnight and congrads to all my classmates and friends, MUCH LOVE TO ALL OFF YOU!!!!
"And when you finally fly away. I'll be hoping that I served you well. For all the wisdom of a lifetime. No one can ever tell."

It also occured to me that I forgot to post a comic on Wednesday. What happened was that my internet was down, and by the time it got got back up I forgot to post the comic. Many apologies and here is Wednesdays comic

Mystery Strip
Well didn't feel like drawing anything up today. So here's a strip that magically appeared in my sketchbook while I was at the student art show. I know either Mark or Dave drew it. Cause they both said they did. So who knows and who cares. I get a day off and you get a comic. We all win!!!
Later folks. I'm off to possibly enjoy my new Complete series of Firefly that cost $20. WOOOOO!

Yup. Later.

Could be a good thesis
Well I just read in the news of one of my frequent webcomic haunts. That a webcartoonist was fired for talking about guns and (according to her) the police came to his house for writing about it.
This is a frightening concept. Cause with the content in my strip I could be susceptible to similar problems. Thankfully nobody I know thinks I'm that dangerous and that my comics are just jokes and soul retching introspection.

Which edition?
For all those who noticed I didn't do a comic yesterday, sorry. To everyone else. Wasn't yesterday's funny?
I saw Hot Fuzz with my Rutgers gang. It was a funny movie man. Defiantly a go see.
Later folks.
