Usually downhill after "I've been thinking"

I really am. I don't know I've just been a smartass for so long people would find it strange (as would I) that I wouldn't contradict people or answer question with a smartass remark. I guess I'm beginning to think I might repel people by being a smart ass. Also the verbal sparing with someone trying to counteract my sarcasm is getting tiring.
