Sick Day

I started with just sore throat. Now I have a full on cold. So it's relax time. Going to class and work didn't help. My boss even said, "You know you can go home" and in response I said "Nope, no I can't, I'm broke."

So Hopefully this'll blow over. Take care everybody.

It's the little things

Kinda angry at the world today. Apparently today is the most depressing day of the year. At least thats what Wmmr said. I must say they might be on to something. The AC Moore thing helped a little, but I'm still kinda grrr.

Dave Grohl....not even close

The show was awesome. Damone rocked. They reminded me of those 80's metal guys. The lead singer was Joan Jett in my opinion at least. Rock and Roll Soldiers SUUUUUUUUCCCCCCKKKKKEED. But they were energetic. The lead singer took the bass drum and jumped into the crowd. It was interesting. Big D was AWESOME. I'm probably going to listen closer so I can sing along. Cause chances are I will see them again. LESS THAN FUCKING JAKE. It was awesome they played all old stuff. They even did a medley of old songs. AUTOMATIC. I wanted shindo, but alas. Maybe next time. It's awesome how they always vary their set list every time they come around. Also sucks that my button came off my pants, and belt keep breaking. But I made it through the show.

The band practice was awesome. Eric and his friend Nick met me at the new flatline studios (formally Ground Control). We started working on four songs. We did a cheap recording so we can hear it. The band is sounding good for our first practice.

Last time I checked I was 108. I'm so fucking close. WOOOOOOOO. THANK YOU MY DEAR FRIENDS FOR CONTINUOUSLY VOTING FOR ME, I LOVE YOU ALL.

In memory

I went to the funeral today. Lot's of people. The poem that was on the cards, was very good. "God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered, 'come with me.' With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away, Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best." The proves part kinda pisses me off. But the rest got to me.

Teeth, pain, numbness

More cavities filled. Then I have more to get done, then more fucking work. BAH. Well I've been home all day. Thank god for no classes on Friday. Only took 3 and a half years.

Animation Class day 2. Well we started on learning the program.

Classical animation was interesting. Lot's of graphic designers, some friends.

I got to start getting my ideas out for my animations. If I want out I have to get planning.

Easy target

Well every time he mentions spelling, or writing assignments. He always makes it a point to say it too me. But yea, class was boring got out early. Also a friend of mine pointed out I should do that for my comic. I am all for spelling things right, but I will never use "proper" grammar. Because that is not how I talk. To do anything but write how I speak (even though most of the spelling errors are do to how I think they are spelled phonetically) wouldn't be real. It sounds right to me, that's what I usually go by. So deal with the lousy grammar. I'll check the spelling.

My cousin Joe passed away yesterday. He will be missed.

The animation lab: where everybody knows your name

Well I walked into class 5 minutes before it was suppose to start. So I was laughed at. Class was okay, we watched animations, talked about what will happened, and stuff. It was great to see everybody. I get to see everybody else tomorrow. Also I got to show off my new external hard drive to everybody, hehe.

Well Eric gave me a tape of what they plan on doing and planned a practice at No Life-Line's old stomping ground, Ground Control. It should prove interesting to get behind the kit again.

Last day of freedom. Tomorrow I go back to school. Which is good. I can use something to do. I also got my external hard drive in the mail. I draw ever closer to becoming a real animator. I also put all my music on it to play at school.

I also got a call early today by Eric. Apparently he needs a drummer. Since he knows I have the capacity to drum he asked me. So I started practicing again. Hopefully I can get some stamina, but don't tell Eric that. I actually need the chance. Haha.

Apparently .Tk is going to delete my domain name cause I have illicit or "bear adult entertainment". Sure I got some language but it's not a porno site. In any case I also figure they want me to pay for the .tk. Since I already bought a .COM(which is better) I say "Go ahead and fucking erase my name". I got to change my buisness cards and such anyhow.

Yea D&B was fun. Jay, Theresa, Andrew and me drank and played some video games. It was cool.

I know it's 11 days late but I want to say HAPPY WINTER-EEN-MAS. I hope your all enjoying it so far. It so close to the actual week. I guess I'll be celebrating by going to D&B and playing games. But I celebrate it by playing Metal Gear 3. Which I think is totally lame you have to catch food to survive.

You know it's amazing what you find when your cleaning out your art portfolios. I found a pad of newsprint, a pad of bristol board, my metal ruler and my t-square. Weird.

I do that a lot when I stay up late. Especially when I watch Bullshit. Hehe.

Well nothing else. Still give your opinions on whether I should work on quality or quantity (see yesterday's post for more explanation). I've gotten some feedback, but I hope for more.

Vans

See I pride myself that I can turn something boring and turn it around. Luckily it's easier with certain things.

Well recently a guy named Brandon McFadden who does something called Fat Cat Online critiqued my comic. He admired my daily update schedule. But he thought my work was sloppy and rushed, and not very clean. Which I totally agree with, but as many of you have told me that's what you like about my comic. He also said that the website sucks, but I got someone working on that.

Back to the other point, about the sloppiness. To improve the quality of the comic, which I have to admit it won't be much, cause I doubt I can draw any better given more time. I could cut back my updating to only a couple of times a week to be decided later. Unless you guy's like the comic itself the way it is.

So let me hear you guy's. Better quality, or it's fine the way it is. I'd like to hear what you guy's have to say. Cause I can go either way and I need to see how you guy's feel about it.

SERENITY NOW, SERENITY NOW

Never watched the show before. But since nothing was on and there was a marathon I gave it a chance.

Jewel Staite aka Kaylee Frye reminded me of the girl from scrubs. Which is equally as cute. I looked her up to make sure I got her name right, I found out that she was the girl in Flash Forward(a TV show from Disney I think), which I totally watched cause of her.

I went to the dentist today. Bad news is I got lot's of work to get done. Good news is that I think I don't have any new cavities. A record. Then I just sat around me house. But I'm going to D & B later.

I finally official in college. Went up to school and turned in my term bill to confirm my attendance. I also got my check, cause I need me money. Then I went to the bank, I think I saw somebody I use to go to high school with. I didn't confirm it but hey I guess so. Hope I didn't insult her. Anyway, then I visited Jay at McDonald's. Woo good times.

Later me, Greg and Tiff went out to Old Navy to spend my gift certificate. I got a jacket, shirt and pants for only 6 bucks. God I love cheap clothes. Then drove around awhile. Which leads us here.

Jetsons, BAH

I mean, come on. What are the car companies waiting for?

I couldn't sleep last night. So I finally beat Halo 2. It ended with a setup for another Halo. I would definitely play the third unless I need a 360. I still have to get my Xbox fixed. So now I need to find a new game to obsessively play. Maybe Metal Gear 3. I also want to get the new Dragon Ball Z budiki game. It looks awesome.

So this is the New Year

Well bad things happened(breakups/lonelyness/firings/semesters) good things happened (met cool people/turned 21/I'm sure something else good), so it's just a wash. So it's a time for a start of something good. Let's just hope I find it.

I also wish you guy's find what your all looking for this year. Also that if you had a crappy year, that it will go anywhere but up.
