To much country is very bad

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Just wanted to say thanks again to Mark, Nick, Jess, Mikey C, and Jon for contributing. I love you all. Now it's back to your regularly scheduled programming. Go to the guest art page to recap the awesome comics.

Speaking of which I fixed up the guest comic page on this site. Now it's changed to Guest art. To incorperate guest comics and other random art with me in it. It now features two comics by Davez and one drawing by Pat (go take a look). I also moved around all the guest comics, so it seems more organized.

Yea country sucks. Funniest was a country version of "Guess you can't go home" by Bon Jovi.

I guess that is all. Later.

P.S. Happy Birthday kell.

There's always next year

I ran into Luc (yes the drawing is off lucy) in the campus center. I asked her to submit something, cause she missed out on the second one. But alas we both forgot. So next time.

I think this is the perfect way to end a guest comic week. Not a thank you, but a fuck off. Thanks so much to Jon for providing a good sentament to the end. Also bravo for using photoshop to make this comic. Jon is a graphic designer I met at school and drink with frequently, ha. He doesn't have a website, so yea.

3K Baby

Boring days, no work, woooo. Went to go see X-men 3 with my sis kel and my best friend Andrew yesterday. I liked it. Beast was the best, he fucking went off on everybody and kicked ass. Waiting for the little thing at the end we started talking about how different it was from the comic book. It was really funny.

Here's Mikey C. I met him on myspace. He does nice photography. For some reason I thought he could draw, haha. So I asked him to submit. I just realized he just photo shopped one of my old comics. It's still funny as hell. Sadly I couldn't get a lyric and blog from him, but it's close enough. Check out his photos on his myspace, here. Just go to his Blog to see his awesome photos of New York.

Tim is a Looney Toon

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Finally got to see Final Fantasy 7. Had no idea what the story was. But it was a very nicely made piece of animation. It was superb. The fight scenes were also awesome to watch. I hope to someday be that good.

I introduce to you AWESOME JESS!!! She is a friend I met at school. She's an aspiring graphic designer but also she draws really good. Ummm, yea she doesn't have a site, so trust me on how good she draws.

Guest Comic by Jess

ok so Tim asked me a while ago to do a guest comic for him when he hit the big 500. I originally did one on the bus ride home from the DC trip in April. I was going to redo it since the story behind it is quite humorous... well not so much for tim...but when I thought about it I figured bringing it back up 2 months later was like beating a dead horse. I wasn't quite sure what to do for a comic then I came across one of his later ones about a dance... so I decided to do something silly and completely irrelevant to anything starting with the dance scene. I hope everyone found humor in this. I giggled when I was drawing it. Luv ya Tim!!! way to go!!!! and I'm honored to be a part of this!!!!

I don't even like White Castle

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Yea, me Jess, her boyfriend Pat, and Nick went to White Castle. Took about an hour each way. We get up there and they keep asking what you getting, you getting anything? I wasn't going to go all that way and not order anything. So I got chicken rings(onion rings, but with chicken instead of onion), and fries. Pretty good.

Heeeeeereeeee's Nick. He's a graphic designer I met at school. He's a cool guy who was always eager to get in my comic. For awhile he keep asking "when am I gonna appear in your comic". Haha. He also runs a website called Jersey Happy. Quite interesting.

So Tim hit 500 comics this week, as you're probably already aware. If you're not already aware, then you really have no business on this site and should go check out http://www.playskool.com.

I remember looking through Tim's notebook many months ago and seeing all his old pencil drawings and rough cuts. I thought there were a lot of comics THEN. Now there's 500? That's half a thousand. To put it in perspective, if you were to print out all the comics strips and lay them end to end...there would be a shitload of paper to clean up.

So I drew this "guest comic" a while ago, when Tim ran his second "guest week," but he didn't post it because it didn't get approved by the network censors. Go figure. At least you can check it out now, which is good, because a large number of people (2) have been dying to see it.

And now it's 3:55am, and I'm exhausted, so I'm going to stop writing this. Good night. And congratulations, Tim.

With love,
Nick Lauria

Well today starts guest comic week or so.

This is Mark. He is the awesome writer/artist of Autumn Lake. It's an awesome little comic. And he's right, he does draw cuter girls, but that's okay. I met him on myspace. At first I was worried he wouldn't do it, but I asked and here we are. It is and awesome strip and a good way to start the week.

Well, go visit his awesome comic. Later.

I read a news article recently which said Voyager 2 was approaching the termination shock. That's the very edge of the sun's heliosphere (a bubble of particles affected by the solar wind). Beyond that is interstellar space. Voyager 2 is about 6.5 billion miles away, and Voyager 1 is 8.7 billion. The point is, it made me wonder just how far that might actually *be.* It's pretty staggering to actually think about, and to realize that after all this time and distance, both Voyagers are but a stone's throw away in interstellar terms.

This week, Tim has reached 500 comics. That's a heckava lot of comics, and quite an achievement. It made me wonder how far reaching the goal of 500 comics really is. To me, it's like the distance of Voyager 2 (if not Voyager 1!). At my current pace, it would be something like four more years before I approached 500, and that's if I didn't take any time off, and didn't run out of things to say. Meanwhile, Tim would be at about 900 or 1000 comics by then! An astronomical figure to be sure.

I wouldn't blame Tim for taking a vacation, on account a he's certainly deserves one! Congrats, Tim!

Can anybody guess what movie the joke is from? Haha. I designed and created a poster yesterday for the library book sale, I then laminated it today, I might put it in my portfolio.

Today May 25th 2006 I have reached 500 comics. It's bizarre on many levels. First that I actually hand drawn 500 separate comics. Second that you guys want more. I have been threaten by three of my friends if I stop my comic they will kick my ass. Haha.

I would like to say, here's to more comics. Of all sorts, bad, funny, depressing and so on and so forth. Also THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING ME THESE PAST YEAR AND A HALF. I APPRECIATE YOU ALL AND LOVE YOU <3.

Tomorrow will begin the guest comic week or so. I got lot's of talent lined up(and a few latecomers) so let's GO!!!

Going to see my good friends Without Parachute again today. I'd say you should go.

Yea it was called Biker bar or something. I didn't notice what it was till I started to see the posters hanging around. Yea, Greg failed to mention it was a leather bar, but he knew I wouldn't care. In anycase it was very fun. I also got hit on by the host Stacy. It flattered me cause I got hit on. Just sucks it wasn't a hot chick, but hey can't win them all.

Yea, that's it. Take it easy folks.
